The Clerk of Courts and Deputy Clerk of Courts administer all court operations and coordinates court issues between the Police, the Prosecutors and the Court on behalf of the Mayor.
The Clerk of Courts handles all court documents and monies paid to the Court for fines and costs. She processes all warrants, summons, notices, continuances and motions. She also notifies the Bureau of Motor Vehicles of all convictions, points and suspensions.
The Clerk of Courts is responsible for monitoring cases, dispositions, and the sealing of records for the court.
The Village of Oakwood Mayor's Court normally meets every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at 9:00 a.m. If you were issued a citation, the court date and time appears in the lower right hand corner. Please call the court to determine if the court appearance is required or if the citation is wavierable.
Waiverable offenses may be paid prior to the court date by cash, cashier's check, personal check, and money order, VISA or Master Card.
