The Clerk of Courts and Deputy Clerk of Courts administer all court operations and coordinate court issues between the Police, the Prosecutors and the Court on behalf of the Mayor.

The Clerk of Courts and Deputy Clerk of Courts handle all court documents and monies paid to the Court for fines and costs. They process all warrants, summons, notices, continuances and motions. The Court also notifies the Bureau of Motor Vehicles of all convictions, points and suspensions.

The Clerk of Courts and her Deputy are responsible for monitoring cases, dispositions, and the sealing of records for the court.

Court Sessions

The Village of Oakwood Mayor’s Court normally convenes every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at 9:00 a.m. If you were issued a citation, the court date and time appear in the lower right hand corner. Please call the court to determine if the court appearance is required or if the citation is waiverable.


Waiverable offenses may be paid prior to the court date by cash, cashier’s check, personal check, and money order, VISA, Master Card and Discover. Please allow 24 hours before making payments online (Mayors Court Payments tab) or calling the Mayors Court. Please allow extra time for weekends and holidays.
