The City of Twinsburg, in partnership with Glenwillow, Macedonia, and Oakwood Village, is planning improvements to the Ravenna/Shepard/Broadway/Richmond Intersection. This federally funded project will improve safety and functionality of the intersection by adding right-turn lanes on Ravenna Road and Broadway Avenue, and a left turn lane on Shepard Road.  The work will also include curb, sidewalk, signal, limited driveway restoration, and drainage improvements.  The proposed project will include the acquisition of minor new permanent and/or temporary rights-of-way as necessary to accommodate the proposed work.

A minimum of one lane of traffic in each direction for all roads will be maintained during the duration of construction and local access for abutting properties and adjacent streets will be maintained at all times. Construction and lane restrictions will be posted prior to the start of construction. The project is currently in preliminary development and work is anticipated to begin in 2025.  The estimated construction cost of the project is $3,300,000.00.

The project will not result in any substantial impacts to environmental resources. The environmental review, consultation and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by ODOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding, dated June 6, 2018, and executed by FHWA and ODOT.

The City of Twinsburg is requesting that any comments you may have regarding the proposed project and/or environmental impacts be submitted by September 30, 2022 to:
