FAQ

What time do we gather? What time does the ride actually leave? Roughly when will we return?

Registration will begin at 9:00am and the ride will leave promptly at 9:30am.

How long is the ride (in miles)? How difficult is it (hills, etc.?)

The trail is for the most part flat with only a small portion of hills on Forbes Road.

Is there a bathroom at the start/end point? Water fountain?

Yes, there is a bathroom at the Oakwood Community Park Pavilion. Water and light refreshments will be provided before the ride with a small community picnic to follow, allowing riders to refuel before departure.

Will we be riding on the street or off-street on trails and sidewalks?

We will be riding on Oakwood’s bike path and sidewalks.

What other safety precautions will be taken to secure the ride?

Oakwood Police and Fire Departments (all trained paramedics) will accompany the ride to ensure participants are able to ride safely, having medical assistance on site during the ride.
