Councilman Painter has served as Chairperson for the Tax Abatement and Economic Development Committee, Chairperson for the Utilities and Environmental Committee, on the Safety Committee, Public Buildings Lands, Streets, and Trails Committee, the Tax Incentive Review Committee and the Finance and Grants Committee.
Mr. Painter's civic involvement includes National League of Cities (NLC), Ohio Municipal League (OML) and National Black Caucus of Local Elected Officials (NBC-LEO).
Mr. Painter graduated from East High School, attended Cuyahoga Community College, and Cambridge Management Institute in Illinois.
Mr. Painter has 36 years Experience as Administration Manager with URS Corporation.
