Councilwoman Tabor has served on the Employee Relations, Labor and Management Committee, Tax Abatement and Economic Development Committee, Finance and Grant Committee, and Chairperson Volunteer Fire Committee.
Mrs. Tabor's civic involvement includes National League of Cities (NLC), Women in Municipal Government (WIMG), Ohio Municipal League (OML), and National Black Caucus of Local Elected Officials (NBC-LEO). She also served on the Cuyahoga County Executive Committee of the Democratic Party and is the President of the Oakwood Democratic Club.
