Councilwoman Hardin has served as Chairperson on the Volunteer Fire Committee, Tax Abatement & Economic Development Committee, Utilities & Environmental Committee, Tax Incentive Review Committee and the Finance & Grants Committee.

Mrs. Hardin's civic involvement includes National League of Cities (NLC), Ohio Municipal League (OML), Women in Municipal Government (WIMG), and National Black Caucus of Local Elected Officials (NBC-LEO).

Mrs. Hardin is a graduate of John Adams, recipient of numerous Management Skills Certifications, and attended Cuyahoga Community College.

Mrs. Hardin retired from Ohio Bell, ATT, Lucent Inc. & SBC. She is an organizer of the Cape Cod Homeowners Association as well as an entrepreneur: Communications Training Gateway, communication.

Mrs. Hardin's proud accomplishments include being a wife, mother and grandmother.
